George Conrades is currently executive chairman of Akamai Technologies, Inc. and was Akamai’s first CEO from 1999 to 2005. Conrades has held leadership roles in both Fortune 50 enterprises and entrepreneurial start-up companies. He serves on the boards of directors for Harley-Davidson, Cardinal Health, and BBN Technologies and on the board of trustees for The Scripps Research Institute and Ohio Wesleyan University. Conrades earned a B.A. in physics and an M.S. in mathematics from Ohio Wesleyan University and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
