| G. Steven Geis, Ph.D., M.D. is president of Geis Consulting, LLC, which provides guidance on clinical strategy, study designs, and implementation for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Geis was formerly the group vice president for Pharmacia’s arthritis, cardiovascular, and oncology clinical development and the vice president of arthritis clinical development at Searle/Monsanto. He received Monsanto’s highest honor, the Edgar M. Queeny Award, in 1999. Dr. Geis is a director of Kendle International Research and an external committee member for the FDA Arthritis Advisory Committee. |
